Sterling K. Brown is one of Hollywood’s shining stars and after his history-making SAG Award win on Sunday he became the first African American male to receive the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama. While Brown is winning big this awards season, we wanted to shine the spotlight on his most important win of all — a happy marriage and supportive partnership with fellow actor, Ryan Michelle Bathe. Reacting with nothing but joy and elation upon his win, Bathe yet again confirmed that there’s nothing like having a Black woman by your side cheering you on.
But this isn’t the first time we’ve spotted Bathe having a darling reaction to Brown’s accomplishments.
The couple has become quite the staple during this award season and when they walk the red carpet, fans see nothing but love.
At the 2017 SAG Awards, Sterling didn’t win for his nominations for the best male actor in a tv movie/miniseries or drama series categories for his roles in The People v OJ Simpson: American Crime Story as Chris Darden and This Is Us, respectively but this look from Ryan proves at the end of the night, he is always a winner in her eyes.
