LeToya Luckett is headed back down the aisle!
According to new photos circulating on social media, the singer and actress has a new diamond ring and fiancé.
On Instagram, celebrity stylist and creative director Bryon Javar was the first to share a photo that appears to be a Facetime screenshot of a conversation between himself and Luckett where she’s sporting a huge smile and an even bigger engagement ring. If the photo doesn’t say enough, Javar’s caption said it all. “Omg my sister is engaged!!! @letoyaluckett Congratulations #ThatsAGoodManSavannah” he shared beneath the image.
Luckett confirmed the news by leaving a little commentary of her own beneath the photo. “God done went & did this,” she wrote.
In posts from her brother on Thursday morning, the news was confirmed once again with video of the mystery man —Dallas-based entrepreneur Tommicus Walker— getting down on one knee during what was suppose to be a surprise birthday party for him. Luckett also showed off the rock on her personal Instagram page.
In May, the Houston-native released her third studio album, Back 2 Life. To accompany the album, Luckett released a juicy three-part visual video series in which she starred as the leading lady. While the music videos were packed full of faux relationship drama, it appears in Luckett’s real romantic life, things are going well.
Luckett has kept quiet about her private life and the identity of the lucky guy up until now.
This will be the former Destiny Child singer’s second engagement. After dating for a year, Luckett, 36, and relationship expert Rob Hill Sr. got engaged in 2015. According to TMZ, the exes wed during a small, intimate ceremony in January 2016 before calling it quits just two months later.
