We bet Russell Wilson wishes every day could be his birthday because he sure got a lot of love from his family. The video message his wife Ciara posted in honor of his big day was oh-so-sweet.
On Wednesday, the singer and ESSENCE Fest 2016 headliner took to Instagram to shower her Seattle Seahawks quarterback husband with praise.
“I love you so much and I’m so excited for this big day,” the singer began to exclaim to Wilson as he celebrated his 29th year of life. “It is your birthday but I hope you feel like every day is your birthday or at least it is my goal to love you that way. May this year be everything that you hope for and more and everything that you work hard for and more. You work hard and you inspire me. I’m grateful for the man that you are to our house, the father that you are to our kids, the lover that you are. You inspire me to be better. You make me a better woman. I am a better woman because of you. You make me want to figure out ways to love in ways that I never knew that I could but I sure want to try hard as heck to you happy because you make me feel so good. The couple wed in July of 2016 and in April of this year, welcomed their first child together–a daughter named Sienna–who joined Ciara’s son Future Zahir from a previous relationship.
Wilson also received a showering of love from other family members and friends, including his stepson, Future Zahir, whose message will just melt your heart.
“Happy birthday Papa Russ,” the 3-year-old said with excitement. “I love you! Peace out!”
