15 Reasons We're Watching Daytime TV

Daytime TV is more than diverse than ever. According to Entertainment Weekly, five of the 10 most popular daytime shows now include a multiethnic cast. With the likes of Queen Latifah, Michael Strahan and Steve Harvey at the helm, daytime talk has never been saucier. Soap operas and game shows have also followed suit, adding more faces of color to their rosters. With all this flavor on our screens, we give you 15 reasons we're keeping our tellies on during the workday.

Like it’s host, The Wendy Williams Show is a bit more controversial and juicy than it’s counterparts. The former radio host is loved for her willingness to “go there” in celebrity interviews and give her uncensored take on celebrity hot topics.

One of the most beloved names in entertainment is now being dubbed the new queen of daytime TV thanks to the Queen Latifah Show. Whether she’s making guest stars rap with her or dressing up as different characters, we’re loving every minute of being in Queen Latifah’s world. Of course it doesn’t hurt that Jada Pinkett Smith is the executive producer. Or that Will Smith was one of the first guests on the show.
