In the weeks since the now infamous Brooklyn nail salon attack, where 21-year-old Christina Thomas was physically assaulted at Happy Red Apple Nails, many Black consumers have been conflicted about what to do next.
While there’s no clear-cut answer, it’s great to see celebrities take part in this ongoing conversation and use their influence to take a stand.
One person in particular who is using their platform to speak up in her own way is Teyana Taylor.
The Harlem-born entertainer offered the victim of the Brooklyn nail salon attack a lifetime of free manicures at her New York-based salon, Junie B Nails.
The proud mother and wife made the incredibly kind gesture following a press conference she held for Thomas and her mom to show her support.
Many took to social media to praise Taylor following the news.
