I Plan On Boxing My Way To Health This Year And You Should Too

Let’s face it, almost everyone resolves to get in shape for the new year but rarely get past February before we slip back into our old couch potato routine. The thing that seems to trip me up is finding a workout activity that’s high intensity but still a lot of fun.

Running on a treadmill or CrossFit-esque programs will certainly get me in shape but can also become boring — which is why I was thrilled when I learned about Rumble via a slew of celebrities who are fans of the workout. As the name suggests the boxing-inspired group fitness classes are a fun-filled fight to optimal fitness. 

Naturally I had to try it for myself and documented it for an episode of PeopleTV network’s We Tried It: New Year, New You. What I expereinced was a fat-burning and heart-pumping time that I plan on commiting to at least two times a week. 

And don’t worry, you don’t have to be Muhammad Ali 2.0 to enjoy this workout. While the moves are anchored in tranditional boxing, it really just feels like you’re dancing in the club!
