On Thursday, the Oscar winning actress posted a selfie sporting her natural hair pulled into two supercute afro puffs. She captioned the post “I rock Rough n Stuff,” playing on the lyrics of The Lady Of Rage’s ’90s hit “Afro Puffs.”
King won an Oscar earlier this year for her incredible performance in Barry Jenkins’s film adaptation of the James Baldwin novel If Beale Street Could Talk. She was also named one of Time‘s 100 most influential people of 2019. She’s a beauty we’ve been wooed by since the days of 227, and today we’re just as enamored.
