Is it September 8th yet? Rihanna’s new makeup line Fenty Beauty will arrive in Sephora stores nationwide on September 8, and just to make you squeal a little harder, her foundation range includes 40 different shades.

A Rihanna fan account messaged the singer and confirmed the news direct from Rih herself.

When asked if it was true that the foundation includes 40 shades, Rihanna replied:

“You knooowwww it! Gotta represent for my girls and we come in all shades! Especially my brown sisters…been left out too many times in the makeup world.”

40 shades!

In a move towards inclusivity, beauty brands are finally getting it together and learning that you need more than a dozen foundation shades. Many brands are making strides, for example, Mac’s Studio Fix Fluid foundation comes in 42 shades. However, it is frustrating that some makeup brands can’t seem to expand past a collection of shades for fair-skinned women. Thankfully, women like Rihanna consider a 40-shade collection a no-brainer in a debut beauty collection.

People are already raving about the teasers for Fenty Beauty and the beautiful collection of women featured in it.

Other previews include these seven highlighters with very Rihanna-inspired names.

Which one will you choose? #FentyBeauty

Case in point: Chic Phreak.

Fans are also excited that Fenty Beauty is being developed by the same company (Kendo) that does Kat Von D and Marc Jacobs Beauty.
