Launched on October 26, the
Girls United: Beautiful Possibilities Video Contest is looking for the best, brightest and most passionate young beauty mavens of tomorrow. To be considered, interested participants must submit a one-minute video through the
Essence.com/beautifulpossibilities webpage between October 26 – November 30, 2018. The video should show your story, why you are passionate about a career in the beauty industry and why you should be selected for the Girls United: Beautiful Possibilities Program with Essence and Ulta Beauty.
Six lucky young ladies will be selected to participate in the Girls United: Beautiful Possibilities program based on their video submissions. Each recipient will receive the following:
-The opportunity to participate in panels and mentoring sessions with Ulta Beauty and Essence experts
– The opportunity to be featured in a digital docuseries to be filmed on location in New York City and Chicago on specific dates in 2019
-An invitation to attend the 2019 Best in Black Beauty Awards Ceremony in New York as guests of Essence and Ulta Beauty
-$10,000 per Program Participant that can be used for college expenses
