Janelle Monae, Taraji P. Henson and Octavia Spencer were a trifecta of beauty at last night's ceremony. The latter two were styled by hair guru Tymothe Wallace, who was inspired by legendary Black icons Diahann Carroll and Dorothy Dandridge. Using all Dove products, he gave Taraji and Octavia beautiful bobs. Shop each product below.
He prepped their hair using Dove DermaCare Scalp Dryness & Itch Relief Anti Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner.
Both alleviate any scalp dryness and itch but keeps hair soft, nourished and manageable.
Once hair was cleansed, he sprayed Dove Absolute Curls Leave-In Detangler on 2-inch sections of hair before blowing them dry with a Dyson blow dryer.
Wallace used this serum to smooth and shape both Henson and Spencer's strands. For the former, he applied and then set with pin curls to create texture, while he applied the serum to Octavia's hair after using a flat iron to straighten her coif.
And to finish off both looks, he applied a layer of spray, ensuring that each look stayed put throughout the night.

Last night, the Moonlight and Hidden Figures star was crowned "best dressed" by many and her beauty look was equally regal. While Nikki Nelms held court over her poppin' pixie, makeup artist Jessica Smalls crafted a makeup look, using all CoverGirl products. Shop it all below:
Smalls shared, “I wanted to keep Janelle’s lip look soft with a peach toned nude lip, I started by lining and filling in her lips with COVERGIRL LipPerfection Liner in Smoky, then applied a swipe of COVERGIRL All Day Color & Gloss in Profound Peach to give a muted touch of color that would last throughout the entire award show.”
For a bronze goddess look, she took some COVERGIRL truBlend Bronzer in Bronze and mixed it in into her moisturizer to prep the skin.
She then defined the cheeks a bit more by blending with COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Bronzer in Ebony Bronze.
Wondering how she got such full and natural-looking brows? Small filled in the sparse areas with a brow powder.
And she brushed all of the hairs up with a tinted brow mascara. Voila!
And what's any makeup look without a pump or two of mascara?
Next time you ask someone to send nudes, make sure it's this palette.
The Scandal star rarely hits the red carpet without Neutrogena in her pre-show routine. And the Vanity Fair Oscar party was no exception. Celebrity hairstylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew prepped her strands with a residue-fighting duo. Shop both of them below:
Sturdivant-Drew shared, "I shampooed Kerry's hair with Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo to remove any buildup from her hair."
