“I’m so glad it’s a Monday!” Said no one ever! Luckily, there’s lots to discuss this morning over coffee:

It was a big night in music last night at the American Music Awards. Beyoncé and John Legend won the Favorite Female and Male awards in the Soul/R&B category. Mrs. Carter also won the Favorite Album award for her latest album, Beyoncé. The night’s big winners also included newcomer Sam Smith for Favorite Male Artist – Pop/Rock and Iggy Azalea for Favorite Artist – Rap/Hip-Hop (check Black Twitter for reactions to this)[AMAs]

A former NBC staffer says he delivered monthly payouts to eight women involved with Bill Cosby between 1989 and 1990. Frank Scotti tells The New York Daily News that Cosby would often invite young models into his Brooklyn dressing room. He says he even arranged to get an apartment for another of Cosby’s women friends. [NY Daily News]

In a Facebook post, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Michelle Hurd says she had her own encounter with Bill Cosby during her stint on The Cosby Show. “Bill Cosby was VERY inappropriate with me,” she wrote. “It started innocently, lunch in his dressing room, daily, then onto weird acting exercises were he would move his hands up and down my body, (can’t believe I fell for that) I was instructed to NEVER tell anyone what we did together.” [Showbiz 411]

Philadelphia rapper Cool C will be executed for his involvement in a 1996 bank robbery that resulted in the death of a police officer. The 44-year-old rapper was found guilty of first-degree murder and is scheduled to be executed on January 8. [Vibe]

Apollo Nida said he “despises everything” about his wife Phaedra Parks during a secret meeting with an attorney on last night’s episode of RHOA. Nida wanted to discuss divorcing Parks before she could divorce him while he was in behind bars. Did you watch RHOA last night?
