There’s nothing quite like having access to a space filled with the largest variety of Black-owned businesses from across the country and the 2022 ESSENCE Festival of Culture is just that. This year, we’re gearing up for our biggest year yet as we return live to NOLA , where we’ll also bring over 27 years of providing a space where everything that matters most to our communities can shine—including Black-owned businesses.
Our last live ESSENCE Marketplace at the 2019 ESSENCE Festival of Culture played host to over 150 live Black-owned vendors who experienced first-hand just how priceless it can be to set up shop in the midst of over half a million consumers eager to support businesses that originated in the very communities they call home. In 2020, our newly-launched ESSENCE Virtual Marketplace provided a platform for over 20 brands to connect with consumers for a shopping experience unlike any other.
Our ESSENCE Marketplace provides a unique space to sell and showcase your original jewelry, handbags, apparel, accessories, visual art and more to excited consumers across multiple venues.
Meanwhile, our ESSENCE Eats Food & Wine Festival will provide an opportunity to serve your signature dishes, participate in cooking demos and plenty more, while our Community Corner will put your grassroots organization, non-profit, college, university, or governmental agency in front of a massive audience of Festival-goers eager to get involved and stay connected.
