Since the 1960's, Cleveland has broken boundaries for women of color in the fashion industry and is true fashion royalty, having been a muse to Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Laurent, Thierry Mugler and many others. The Ballroom at The Jane Hotel was transformed into a lavish scene, complete with Josephine Baker inspired models dancing on tables.
