'Empire' Draws in 16 Million Viewers During Season Two Premiere

You'll never guess how much a 30-second commercial cost advertisers during last night's premiere!

Empire is still on top! 

Empire made its triumphant season two return last night, and its ratings did not disappoint.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the hit series drew in a whopping 16 million viewers between the ages of 18 and 49, the series' second highest ratings ever (last season's finale attracted an insane 17.6 million viewers).

Even crazier? A 30-second commercial spot during the premiere cost an advertiser an unbelievable $750,000—almost Super Bowl prices!
