Teenage Boys Lacking Sexual Health Counseling

Teenage boys are not receiving the same counseling on sexual health counseling as teenage girls. A recent national survey revealed that less than one-quarter of boys from age 15 to age 19 were counseled about sexually transmitted infections and HIV. The article notes that not much has changed since a similar study was conducted in 1995. It's a shame that our young men are having sex without a full understanding of the responsibilities that go along with being sexually active.
