This is We See You Sis, an emotionally penetrating video series aimed at celebrating Black women who make an impact online, while digging deeper into their emotional health and well-being beyond their most “liked” posts.

Jemele Hill has become a household names thanks to her thoughtful commentary and refreshing honesty.

In a new episode of We See You Sis, Hill opens up to ESSENCE about creating meaningful work and providing space for others.

“I’ve been able to experience and achieve a lot of things in my life and I’m grateful for those experiences but, to me, it’s all very meaningless if I don’t also, as I’m going through the door, keep my foot wedged in there so that other people can actually come through it,” she said.
