Ryan Coogler is set to develop a new television drama series focused on the lives of youth in a juvenile detention center. 

Ryan Coogler Lands Exciting New Job

Deadline reports the Creed writer-director is joining forces with playwright Chinaka Hodge and Destin Daniel Cretton to develop Minors, a TV show that will take “an unflinching look at institutionalization, examining juvenile facilities and the children who grow up in that system” by following young people over a one-year period.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to Air ‘Rock and a Hard Place’ Documentary on HBO

Coogler will serve as both a director and executive producer with Chinaka as a writer for the production and Cretton as a fellow director.
