The Creed writer-director is adding another important project to his plate.
Ryan Coogler is set to develop a new television drama series focused on the lives of youth in a juvenile detention center.
Deadline reports the Creed writer-director is joining forces with playwright Chinaka Hodge and Destin Daniel Cretton to develop Minors, a TV show that will take “an unflinching look at institutionalization, examining juvenile facilities and the children who grow up in that system” by following young people over a one-year period.
Coogler will serve as both a director and executive producer with Chinaka as a writer for the production and Cretton as a fellow director.
