Beloved actress Niecy Nash and Jay Tucker are calling it quits after eight years of marriage.
The ‘Claws’ actress announced the split of her husband via Instagram, saying the two reached a mutual decision. “We believe in the beauty of truth,” she says. “Always have. Our truth is that in this season of our lives, we are better friends than partners in marriage.”
She continues: “Our union was such a gorgeous ride. And as we go our separate ways now, we feel fortunate for the love we share – present tense. Thank you all out there for your support of us as a couple over the last eight years. We are grateful.”
Niecy Nash and Jay Tucker met at a Labor Day party back in 2009 and immediately hit it off. The couple was married in 2011 at the Church Estate Vineyards in Malibu in front of 200 of their closest friends and family.
