"I accepted Brian’s proposal because I knew I would be incomplete without him,” says Kim. “With Brian, life makes sense. I don’t know where or who I would be without him."
Kim got a little help from her girlfriends when it came time to get ready for her big walk down the aisle. "My friend and makeup artist LaToya Tisby-Still did makeup," says Kim. "My hair was done by my friend and bridesmaid Brittney Andrews."
"My shoes were made by Glint and purchased at Nordstrom," says Kim. "The earrings and bracelet I wore were purchased at an accessory kiosk in the mall. Always keep your eyes open for things, you will find a lot in random places!"
"I purchased three headpieces: a veil, a birdcage blusher and a hair pin," says Kim. "I loved the birdcage and pin because of my short hair and they looked the best. I just decided last minute to wear the feathered hair pin for the ceremony and the birdcage for the photos."
This candid moment between Brian and his half of their bridal party that was caught on camera really made us smile.
"My husband is a visionary and he's humble, loving and honest," says Kim.
Kim carried white and pink roses in her bridal bouquet and used them throughout the decor motif for their ceremony and reception.
"I love Kim's ability to make me smile in any situation and the peace that comes with her presence," admits Brian.
Brian tells us he knew Kim was the one on their very first official date, and she seconds that notion!

Kim and Brian's wedding colors were black, white and pink. Their head table was decorated with pinks and white and a back drop with crystal accents. A crystal chandler with white cloths extended from the center of the ceiling outward to each corner of the room to form a tent effect. Their names were lit on the floor from a projector and guests enjoyed and open bar. It was a lovely occasion that was only a two minute drive from their ceremony site.
