One of the most fascinating things about life is that many times your experiences teach you so that you may teach others. This is evident in my ability to articulate this article. The what, who, where and when of my personal journey has undoubtedly helped to make me who I am. This may not be a traditional approach to an advice column, but I feel that I would be remiss if I did not point out my shortcomings as a man. I would be unequipped to admonish you as to what character traits to avoid if I did not once possess those exact traits within myself.
