When. Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-Ohio) took the stage at the Democratic National Convention this past Thursday, we were looking at more than her speech.

Her white dress looked eerily similar to the outfit Melania Trump wore during her primetime speech on day one of the Republican National Convention. And Rep. Joyce has spoken out about it.

“I have heard others say [Trump's dress] was a zero, or she is a zero," Beatty told ET. "But I am a 10."

The Ohio congresswoman says she's never seen Trump’s Roksanda Ilincic bell-sleeved dress and that it was her husband who picked out the outfit for her.

"My husband [Otto Beatty, Jr.] came today and asked me to wear this dress," she said. “I think they look similar, but this is the dress my husband bought for me."

Many consider the sartorial mishap to be a shady response to Trump’s plagiarism of the First Lady’s 2008 DNC. Whether intentional or not, we are here for a good chuckle.
