Whether you're a makeup minimalist, everyday enthusiast or some unique combination of the two, knowing how to use makeup pencils is definitely helpful. Although they look easy to use, a lot of us still struggle to do it correctly. Thankfully, some brands are streamlining the application process by creating pencil products exclusively, including Nudestix. The travel-friendly line is a go-to when we're low on time and a reminder that using pencils should never be complicated. If you need a quick refresher on how to add a little drama in just a few steps, check out MUA Danielle Lewis' pro-tips below!

Use the smudger on the opposite end or a fluffy brush to blend the product into the lash line then up towards your crease. According to Lewis, this creates more depth at the lash and a sheer wash of color going toward to the brow.
