ESSENCE’s Black Women In Hollywood Awards (BWIH) is underway in Beverly Hills, California. And in typical awards show fashion, we have our eyes glued to the red carpet so that we don’t miss the big beauty moments.
So far, we’ve seen head-turning makeup looks, including BWIH honoree Melina Matsouka’s whimsical eyeshadow and Gabrielle Union’s romantic beat, along with a handful of must-see hair moments.
The red carpet was crawling with chic cuts, curls, and coils– but we were most enamored with all the beautiful braid moments.
Insecure star, Yvonne Orji stunned in a cool crown braid, and Vanguard award recipient Niecy Nash ornamented her plaits with gilded accessories.
