Over the weekend, Curly Girl Collective celebrated their 10-year anniversary for the world’s largest natural beauty festival, CurlFest. Hosted in Brooklyn, New York, the 100% Black-owned and women-led festival offered small beauty brands visibility in the fest’s Small Beauty Village––sponsored by SheaMoisture––while the city’s diverse beauty community showed off their crown.
From butterfly hair clips on braided hearts, to bouffant flower-adorned coils and gravity-defying twists, the hair looks at this year’s fest was a reminder that Black is beautiful, diverse, and inspirational.
