The women at ESSENCE Music Festival (EMF) in New Orleans brought the heat to the street with their haute and sexy summer concert style. Take a look at the women who rocked the festival out in fashionable attire.

These ladies made their debut at the ESSENCE Music Festival a bright one with floral dresses, gorgeous hair and makeup, and overstated accessories.
Thirty-something Nicole Neal, an executive from New York City, looked cool and comfortable in her two-piece denim ensemble perfectly paired with oversized shades and a cute Fendi purse at her first time at EMF.
On her first trip to EMF, Raven Barasley, 24, from Jackson, Mississippi, looks fashionable and fierce with her ruffled miniskirt and mesh driving glove in homage to the 80’s.
NOLA native Lisa Moore, 34, was ready for action at the Superdome in this short and sassy fuchsia cocktail dress. With bright colors and bangs, Lisa is on trend.
Casual and cool, Ashley Jackson, 22, a native of Philadelphia, takes masculine tailoring and mixes it with feminine accessories. Her subtle Mohawk is haute!
Big city style comes to the Big Easy as New Yorker Esther Sauveur, 27, struts her stuff at EMF in this green slinky minidress and sexy studded platforms.
Chelsea Robertson, 20, from New Orleans brings the heat in shorts which is one of the hautest trends for the summer. Note: the silver accessories.
Dallas native Teresa Wilson, 36, is modern and bold in her green short satin dress and cool Aviator sunglasses.
Twenty-nine-year-old Natopha Forbes, 29, represents Philadelphia in red, white and blue at the Festival. Ruffled skirt, wide belt and sassy accessories make a statement.
Brandy Knox, 22, representing New York City, looks stylish and sharp in her denim blazer and white shorts. Her satchel bag and silver sandals give the looks some flavor.
Briana White, 34, from NOLA, has been to EMF 12 times. She mixed the several trends: tie-dyed, bright accessories, platform sandals and flipped hair. Work!
Dallas resident Tyesha Stafford, 27, is not afraid of color. Her blue pouf dress, hot pink tote work well with her skin and golden hair. Chocolate shoes and accessories toned down the look.
Shantaye Pelzer, 30, from the District of Columbia, rocked this halter jumper to beat the heat. An oversized purse and strappy shoes give this look a modern edge.
Hailing from the ATL, Patrice Beckford, 29, rocked this strapless jumper and dressed it up with haute accessories and a dark bobbed do with bangs to turn heads at EMF.
H-Town’s Brandi Holmes, 27, looked like she stepped off the catwalk in this caramel one-shoulder dress. The green accessories and eye shadow punctuated her classic style.
Classic and cool, Kyra Lewis, 27, is a New Orleans native. Her camel cardigan, gold aviators, bangles and sandals, Michelle Obama pearls, and Fendi clutch were a perfect balance to her crisp white outfit.
