It’s hard to believe that it has been ten years since the launch of Harlem’s Fashion Row. The organization, which was founded by Brandice Daniel, works to shine the light on fashion designers of color and anyone pushing the for diversity in fashion, beauty, and the arts.

HFR kicked of New York Fashion Week with a huge event honoring award-winning director and producer Spike Lee, media maven Claire Sulmers, singer and fashionista Andra Day, as well asVogue.com fashion editor Chioma Nnadi.

And of course there was a fashion show. Designers Fe Noel, Undra Celeste, K. RaShaé and Kimberly Goldson presented their wears to a tent full of editors, celebrities and influencers.
