Trevor Jackson is back with a new video, surfing and crooning about love in the new video for “Puddles.”
Directed by Jackson himself, the video for “Puddles” is a water-filled, wavy surf experience. The actor-singer also gives viewers a quick guitar moment and, in a nod to R&B videos of the past, sings in the rain.
“‘Puddles’ is a love song, which is why I wanted to shoot a video that showed me doing what I love,” Jackson told ESSENCE exclusively. “Surfing is where I find my center amongst this crazy world. I feel like ‘good’ relationships should always feel like that, like an oasis.”
The song will appear on Jackson’s forthcoming LP, Rough Drafts Pt. 2, set to be released late spring. But, until then, “Puddles” will have to quench your thirst.
