Issa Rae is bringing back the 90s cult-classic Set Off!
The Insecure creator is said to be in early development on a re-imagining of the 1996 movie, which starred Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, Vivica Fox and Kimberly Elise.
Rae also plans to star in the project, Variety reports.
Set It Off followed four friends who pull off a series of successful bank robberies in Los Angeles. Directed by F. Gary Gray, the film pulled in $41 million at the box office on $9 million budget.
Rae will be producing the film under Issa Rae Productions with Syreeta Singleton and Nina Gloster writing the script.
