Tonight, the 27th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards aired on TNT and TBS at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET., with an encore to be held at 11 p.m. ET on TNT. For the second year in a row, the SAG Awards moved forward without a formal host as an hour-long pre-tapped event due to coronavirus restrictions and regulations.

The late actor’s wife Simone Ledward Boseman accepted his posthumous award for Best Male Actor in a Leading Role for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

Viola Davis won a SAG for Best Actress for her portrayal as Ma Rainey in the Netflix film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
