La La Anthony has revealed that she is exploring “her legal options” as it pertains to her marriage to NBA star Carmelo Anthony.
“As La La and Carmelo have been living apart for quite some time, La La is proceeding with legal discussions as the next step in their relationship,” a representative for the Power star told People Magazine in a statement. “They will remain loving and committed parents to their son.”
The couple has been co-parenting their son Kiyan during this difficult period.
The couple has been married since 2010, but they hit a rocky patch in 2017 when rumors of Carmelo’s infidelity hit the news. By 2018, the couple appeared to be trying to patch things up again.
This past February, La La shared a sweet message with a not-so-subtle warning to her hubby in her Valentine’s Day message.
“I’ve loved you since you were 19 & I will love you forever,” she wrote, while also including a lyric from Beyonce’s song, “Don’t Hurt Yourself.” She warned her husband: “You know I give you life…If you try this sh-t again…you gon lose your wife.”
People magazine also reports that divorce is not out of the question for La La.
