Nothing makes us smile more than seeing our stars embrace their natural hair.
While Hollywood still pushes the standard of beauty that may make some Black celebs feel the need to straighten, color and elongate their strands, seeing our stars revel in their mane’s natural glory is inspiring and empowering.
And these days more and more of them are showing off their natural hair. Here are just a few of our fave looks from 2018.

We love when Bey rocks her natural honey tresses and even more so when she adds some major body with waves and a high pony.

Every time Rae serves up a look, it’s truly a lewk. We can’t get enough of this textured messy bun.

We love the versatility of N’yongo’s hair, and this golden twine throughout her strands really took us there.

Dacosta always gives us realness, but the photo of her locks flying free gives us “carefree Black girl” vibes that we are here for.
