While Michael B. Jordan’s critically-acclaimed Creed isn’t up for an Oscar this year, he will grace the stage to announce a winner during the 88th annual Academy Awards.

Quincy Jones, Kerry Washington Added as Oscar Presenters

Jordan joins Beasts of No Nation actor Abraham Attah, Oscar winners Common and Louis Gossett Jr. as the new crop of presenters announced by the Academy.

Gossett took home an award in 1982 for Best Supporting Actor for the film An Officer and a Gentleman. Common scored a win last year for Best Original Song along with John Legend.

The stars will join the previously announced Quincy Jones and Kerry Washington along with Whoopi Goldberg, Kevin Hart and Pharrell Williams as Oscar presenters.

ESSENCE cover Chris Rock hosts the 2016 Academy Awards, which air Sunday, February 28 at 7 p.m. on ABC.
