The two join other actors and musicians of color to present in the midst of the #OscarsSoWhite controversy.
Scandal actress Kerry Washington and legendary music producer Quincy Jones have been announced as presenters for the upcoming Academy Awards.
The two will take the stage during the 88th annual telecast to announce some of the night's winners, the Hollywood Reporter reports.
Jones and Washington will join Whoopi Goldberg, Kevin Hart and Pharrell Williams, who were previously announced as Oscar presenters.
Past Academy Award winners Steve Carell, Julianne Moore, Jared Leto and J.K. Simmons are among the other presenters, along with Quantico star Priyanka Chopra, Olivia Munn, Margot Robbie, Andy Serkis, Reese Witherspoon and Byung-hun Lee.
In the midst of the #OscarsSoWhite controversy, Jones previously stated that the absence of diversity amongst the nominees was ridiculous and wrong. He said that he would turn down the invitation to present if he wasn't allowed to speak for five minutes on the lack of diversity.
Will you be tuning in to hear what Jones has to say?
The 2016 Oscars airs Sunday February 28 at 7 p.m. on ABC.
