NBA Star J.R. Smith And Wife Shirley Celebrate Their Anniversary And Her Birthday In A Big Way
Cleveland Cavaliers star J.R. Smith and his wife Shirley are commemorating their second wedding anniversary as well as her birthday in a very adorable way. Celebrating as just the two of them in Hamptons, NY, both J.R. and Shirley took to Instagram to share their love and excitement for this special day.
For Shirley’s birthday, the 2016 NBA champ shared an array of photos of his wife and mother of his 3 children, in which he wanted to show his gratitude by simply saying thank you for the many roles she plays.
“When it’s ya Anniversary and her Birthday!! @jewey808 thank you for being my Wife/Friend/Kids Mother!! Thank you thank you thank you! I LOVE YOU!!,” he wrote.
Shirley had a few words of her own on the special day, even though she said her husband makes her feel like everyday is her birthday.
“We were originally supposed to get married 8-8-2008 but that wasn’t in Gods plan…
Here we are celebrating our second anniversary #8-8-2016 and today 8-8-2018 is the national day of happiness…how fitting is this?
Babe, You have been my rock!!
I have seen You do a 360 first hand and it takes a strong person…especially a man to change or alter their ways as an adult but you….YOU! You are beyond special to me and you get it…that’s how I know this love is real. 8 represents a cycle which to me is no surprise bc we recycled right back to one another when the timing was right.
With you my birthday is every day so it was never a second guess or thought to share our anniversary& my bday together #whenyouknowyouknow I am so proud of you! Just know that I will always uplift you and have your front and back! #illwarshallyouniggasodformines #allmines #manohman #allicansay”
The Smiths wed back in 2016 although they were together on and off for the past 10 years. They are now the parents to 3 beautiful daughters–Demi, Dakota, and Denver–in which they often give a glimpse into their family life through social media.
Congrats to The Smith family!
