Pat McGrath Makes History Again With Her New British Vogue Title
Legendary makeup guru and beauty creative Pat McGrath just added another title to her impressive resume: beauty Editor-at-Large for British Vogue. She’ll join Naomi Campbell, who is also a contributing editor for the brand.
Editor-in-chief Edward Enninful and his team announced their choice earlier this week and it’s no secret that the beauty powerhouse is a perfect fit for the fashion glossy. Thanks to her countless, boundary-pushing looks for the runway and her Pat McGrath Labs collections, McGrath is a trailblazing force in the beauty and fashion industries.
“It is an honor to be part of my dear friend Edward’s vision for British Vogue,” McGrath said in an official statement.

“Throughout my career, I’ve had the good fortune to work closely with the world’s best designers, stylists, photographers, models, and creative professionals. Now I’m thrilled to be part of this extraordinary team at Vogue; pushing the boundaries of beauty and artistry, while honouring the past and the esteem of this prestigious publication.”
This assignment is just the latest of many accolades under McGrath’s belt. Earlier this year, she became the first Black woman and makeup artist to receive the CFDA’s Founder’s Award for her work in the beauty industry.
She was also bestowed the honor of becoming a Member of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth for her contributions to the beauty and fashion industry.
We can’t wait to see more of McGrath’s work for British Vogue and beyond!
