The 2016 BET Honors will honor music legends Patti LaBelle and L.A. Reid.

ABC News announced that the ceremony will also highlight the accomplishments of U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dreamworks Animation Mellody Hobson, and Empire creator Lee Daniels.

The show will be filmed on January 23 in Washington D.C. at the Warner Theatre.

Arsenio Hall will host the special which highlights Black professionals who are succeeding in entertainment, literature, business and education.

BET Honors will air on February 23 at 8 p.m.
