Oprah is heading to Broadway to talk to the stars of the new Broadway production of The Color Purple.

The hourlong special will include a look behind-the-scenes and an intimate sit-down between Oprah and the stars of newly-revived musical, Jennifer Hudson, Danielle Brooks, and Cynthia Erivo.

Oprah, who originally played Sofia in the 1985 film, will also be joined by Alice Walker, Danny Glover, Cicely Tyson, and Phylicia Rashad to discuss the 30th anniversary of the film's release.

"Oprah Goes to Broadway: The Color Purple" airs Sunday December 19 at 10 p.m. on OWN.
