Expect to see Sanaa Lathan appear on your television screens: the actress landed a role in a currently untitled Fox series, where she will be working alongside writers Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Rock Bythewood.  

The plot will center around consequences that ensue after an African-American police officer shoots and kills a white teen in Tennessee.

This will be Lathan's first time in 15 years that she will be re-uniting with writers Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Rock Bythewood, as well as the actress' first television role since her work in Boss, Nip/Tuck, and The Cleveland Show.
