A Michel'le biopic is in the near future.

Fresh off of the success of Straight Outta Compton, R&B superstar Michel'le has teamed up with Thinkfactory Media to create a biopic based on the singer's life, reports Variety.

Michel'le Speaks Out on Abuse: 'I was Just a Quiet Girlfriend Who Got Beat Up'

The biopic, tentatively titled Girl From the Hood, will detail Michel'le's rise to fame and her highly publicized and controversial relationships with Dr. Dre and Suge Knight, both of whom she said were abusive. 

"For many years, I was unwilling to share my personal experiences," she said in a statement. "I am now ready to open up about my career, relationships and family." 

A release date for the project has not been set.
