Paris Jackson is in stable condition following her suicide attempt yesterday, says her grandmother Katherine Jackson's lawyer.
Sandra Ribera issued a statement saying Paris is "physically fine and getting appropriate medical attention."
According to E! News, Paris recently experienced bullying at school was having a hard time finding friends. She'd recently connected with her biological mother, Debbie Rowe, and sources tell PEOPLE hoping to find family to fill her empty void.
Jackson was rushed to the hospital early Wednesday morning after taking up to 20 ibuprofen pills and cutting her wrists with a kitchen knife. Prior to the incident, Jackson took to Twitter quoting the melancholic Beatles song, "Yesterday."
"Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay," she wrote.
Her aunt LaToya Jackson responded by asking for privacy as the "family handles these issues together."
