According to the Hollywood Reporter, Oprah's untitled project is about a rich academic who becomes the first Black president of a prestigious liberal arts college. However, as great as that sounds, he and his family aren't who they seem to be. In the spotlight they are the ideal family, but behind closed doors they're struggling with many issues and troubles.
So far, the hour-long show will be executive produced by Oprah herself and Harpo colleague Kate Forte. Famed Black playwright Thomas Bradshaw will write the script.
