“Those things hurt. I'm a very sensitive person," said Brandy.
It's been six years since Brandy's horrific car crash that left one dead. Years later, her fans and critics won't leave it alone. The singer made a guest appearance on Power 105.1's Breakfast Club and addressed the Twitter hate she constantly receives.
"Those things hurt," said Brandy. "I can't sit here and say that I'm not affected by things like that because I am."
The singer admits she's baffled by the negativity she receives and wonders how people gather the strength to be so ruthless. "When people take those moments to just send me pictures of car crashes or say things with evil intent, I think to myself, 'How do people go to that place?' because I don't even know if I have that place inside of me to try to hurt somebody else."
The Grammy winner claims people shouldn't mistake her humbleness for weakness. "I am a very sensitive person, and I just feel like when people's intentions are bad and when they go to a place to try and hurt you like that — that was a very unfortunate situation that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy."
