Nick Cannon is said to be directing an updated version of "House Party."
Nick Cannon will be directing a major movie in the coming year, according EURweb. The comedian describes the film as an updated version of "House Party."
The "America's Got Talent" host will collaborate with Lionsgate on the project, but it won't be Cannon's first directing job. In years past, he's directed two TV series, a TV movie and several music videos including his wife Mariah Carey's video, "My Love."
"[I'm] taking a lot of young hip-hop acts of today and putting them in a movie with a bunch of comedians, make something happen there," said Cannon at Bleu magazine's cover party, where he was hailed "Man of the Year."
This good news is a change of pace for the actor and host. Cannon recently suffered from "mild kidney failure." He later said on his radio show, "Rollin' With Nick Cannon," that his immune system attacked his kidneys, causing him to be hospitalized for several says.
