R. Kelly’s role in a children’s parade has mixed reactions from parents.
R. Kelly’s role in a children’s parade in Chicago didn’t go over too well with the parents in attendance.
Kelly served as Grand Marshal for the Bud Billiken parade, and according to reports, he met with both cheers and jeers.

This, of course, all stems from Kelly’s history, which included beating a rap on child pornography charges.
Through the jeers, there were still those parents who welcomed their Chi-town superstar. “You’re still my baby, no matter what you did!” yelled one fan, Leslie Kaizer, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Another paradegoer wasn’t so impressed. “It doesn’t seem right,” she said. “I don’t think I’d have picked him.”
