Sherri Shepherd said she's losing weight for her big wedding day and future pregnancy.
Sherri Shepherd plans to look fabulous for her upcoming wedding and is working hard to shed a few pounds before the big day. But she says it's more than the glamorous gown that's keeping her motivated.
"I have to lose as much weight as possible for me to be healthy to carry [a baby]," Shepherd, who will wed Lamar Sally in August, tells PEOPLE of her plans to have more children.
Shepherd, 44, has added personal training sessions to her fitness regimen while eating meals on the South Beach Diet. The "View" co-host -- who already has a 6-year-old son Jeffrey and has struggled with fertility -- suffers from diabetes so this new health plan comes as a great change.
She's even gotten celebrity bridesmaids Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Niecy Nash, Kym Whitley and Yvette Nicole Brown to join her fitness reboot. "We just got back from L.A. rehearsing a choreographed dance for eight hours," Shepherd says. "Everybody threw out their back. They were tired and bruised!"
Keep up the good work ladies, we know you'll look fab this summer!
