First Lady Michelle Obama revealed the White House’s seven christmas trees last night – the biggest of which is decorated with recycled ornaments from previous administrations. Lady O has chosen a stunning, yet pared-down color palette of brown, gold, claret and cinnamon to go along with her holiday theme of “Reflect, Rejoice, Renew.”
“For the Obama family, Christmas and the New Year has always been a time to reflect on our many blessings, to rejoice in the pleasure of spending time with our family and our friends, and to renew our commitment to one another and to the causes that we believe in,” she said.
Last night was the first of 17 holiday parties to be held at the White House. Here’s to hoping our lovely First Lady of style rocks more killer holiday outfits like those that landed her on French Elle’s Best-Dressed list.
