It’s been seven years since Eunice Workman’s family has heard from her. They had no idea what had happened to her and filed a missing person’s report with the police at the time. It wasn’t until Workman’s daughters began cleaning out the abandoned two-story Oakland home where their mother (who was 76 when she went missing) once lived that they discovered her body under a pile of debris on the second-floor bedroom, according to the Associated Press. Police said the home had been filled with junk from floor to ceiling and Workman may have died from being crushed by her belongings. Her remains were in a second-floor bedroom. An autopsy will be done to indicate cause of death.—WLW
