Cam Newton Dishes On His Son And Hustle At Disney Dreamers Academy

The Carolina Panthers quarterback spoke to ESSENCE about his journey to the NFL and whether or not he believes his son should have a future in the sport.

[MUSIC] My dream as a team was to make it to the NFL. I would always dream about it. I think That's a lost art for kids to dream about things or imagining themselves in this specific situation. And that's what I did often. Any time that I had an opportunity to, I would just go online and try to find out certain things, and see my self in that specific realm. My dreams for the world is to impact As many people as possible. When somebody sees me, or sees my story, they are impacted in a positive way. My dreams for my son? I just want him to be happy. I could really care less if he plays football, if that's the question that somebody's asking. But more importantly, I just want him to be happy. [BLANK_AUDIO]
