Strawberry Letter” franchise that is so popular on “
The Steve Harvey Morning Show,” heard nationwide. Send in your letters and Shirley Strawberry will dish out the necessary advice.
Today’s topic: He’s acting up Dear Morning Crew, Steve, I am a 33-year-old female dating a 45-year-old man. From the beginning he told me he did not trust me because he doesn’t trust any woman. I thought “Okay, I’ll show him that he can trust me.” He is always accusing me of cheating and being sneaky. If I tell him in advance that I am going out for the weekend with my girlfriends, the closer it gets to the time to go he starts an argument. Also, everything is an issue. He will start an argument over the most stupid and petty things. Early one morning I went to his house and his baby’s mother’s car was there. I called him and went to the door and there was no answer. He gave me some lame excuse about her sister going to jail and her needing his help and their son was there and hes not going to look like less than a man in front of his son. That should have been it, but stupid me thinking I love him and he loves me, [I stayed with him]. Recently, I found pictures of a naked girl in his house and he told me the girl does that for everyone and there were a lot of guys at his house taking pictures and that’s just what guys do and that it has nothing to do with me. I just can’t seem to believe that and feel he is too old to have that type of thing going on at his home, especially since he is in a relationship. I am tired of being sick and tired. I think I need to let this go.
